My approach

When you look back on your wedding photos I want you to feel the story of your day unfolding to you, and not just a collection of portraits combined into an album. I want you to remember your grandma’s expression when she hugged you, and remind you of how you looked at each other moments after you said “I do”. Your wedding day will fly by, but it’s my hope that these images remain with you forever.

My style is documentary, whimsical and candid. I believe the best images often happen in the in-between. I prioritize timelessness and authenticity over current trends. Striving to create photos that take you back to how you felt that day. I embrace a bit of grain and blur, darkness as well as light and anything else that conveys emotion.

My wedding photographs reflect character and individuality. Every couple’s story is different and everyone’s story is worthy. It’s my job to capture the candid exchanges and the honest love of your day.

Let’s create something timeless together.

There’s nothing more romantic than ditching the big wedding plans in favor of a small intimate ceremony thats focuses on what’s most important, you two. Contact me to get an exact quote for your location.

Coverage of elopements and tiny wedding celebrations (100 or less). Most couples book 2-5 hours of coverage, this includes high resolution, edited digital images files with unlimited downloads, sharing, & personal printing rights. Weekend elopements have a 4 hour minimum.

Image galleries are ready 6-8 weeks after the elopement.

“Her wedding photos look like something I’d expect to see in a gallery or museum space. They’re documentarian in nature with a focus on capturing the relationship(s) between the subjects. Its hard to balance your individual style with a job that’s so heavily centered around the client’s wants when those wants are often fueled by what’s trendy. Andrea has managed to maintain a unique creative identity that just isn’t present in most of the wedding photographer’s portfolios we’ve come across.”

10 x 10 Fine Art Album | 1,300

Additional Spreads | $100

Don’t let your wedding images end up in a folder on a hard drive somewhere. Wedding photos are more than just individual images. There is an entire story to be told about your day and printing an album is the best possible way of sharing your story.

My albums are standard 10 x 10 and hand bound to last. They are printed on archival photo paper and designed in house. I keep the design of the album with simplicity in mind; clean, minimal layouts.

Each album is printed on gorgeous matte paper with invisible binding for full spread, flat image viewing. My albums come with 30 spreads, additional spreads may be purchased for $100/spread.

After your wedding, I will pre-design your album for the initial draft, but you’re in full control during the revision process. I’ll provide 3 album drafts with unlimited changes to ensure you love your album. Nothing will go to print until your approval.

Each album is designed to tell the full story of your wedding day; from start to finish.

“As your photographer, there are two factors that I see most important during the wedding day - providing a stress free experience and pursuing great light for photographs. It’s my goal to capture the small details of your day, the story that shows your love, and images of the people closest to you.”

FAQs

What is it like to work with you?

I keep it mostly documentary, capturing those natural and honest moments as they happen. I direct you in a gentle way only when necessary. I focus on your connection and the emotions felt during specific moments.

How many images do you deliver?

There are many variables, but generally around 50-100 images per hour.

Do you give out RAW files?

I do not release the RAW files. I believe that clients should receive a finished image.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes, I love to travel for weddings. I am based out of Omaha, Nebraska. Please inquire for more information regarding a custom quote for in state weddings, destination weddings and elopements. Every situation is different so we definitely want to chat about your wedding beforehand. I require airfare, accommodations, and a rental car for the duration.

Can we add on hours if our wedding runs a little long?

I’m happy to stay if your wedding runs over a few minutes, however, if I stay over 30 minutes, you will be required to pay for overtime. Additional hours are $700.

Do you support marriage equality?

Yes, absolutely! I look forward to celebrating everyone’s love!

Do you help with the timeline?

Of course, I am always helping my couples with their wedding day timeline. As always, unscheduled time in your day is super important in order to help you be more present. Feel free to reach out to me anytime to help with this.

Do you need a shot list?

Nope! I love to just shoot the day as it unfolds. However, I love getting lists and maybe a photo or two of family members. In short, I get all the important stuff.

How long have you been a photographer?

I have been shooting wedding for over a decade.

Do you take formal family photos?

yes, of course! Even though, I normally don’t show these portraits on my blog, these photos are still so important. I typically block out an hour for family portraits right before the ceremony or during cocktail hour. I shoot a mix of candid and formal.

How do you deliver the images?

I will send you a private link to your own customized online gallery, that contains all of the edited high resolution photos. From there, you can download all fo the photos at no additional cost. Feel free to share the gallery link with friends and family, too!

How long does it take to receive all of our photos?

Around 6-8 weeks. Each image is individually edited with great care not something to be rushed.

Do you make wedding albums and sell prints?

Yes, each book is custom designed for each of my clients and highly recommended. A much more enticing way to view your wedding images than on a screen and a wonderful way to show off your love to your grandchildren one day. The book is something you will keep for many years. You can purchase prints directly from your online gallery, along with many other beautifully curated products.

What are the payment options?

I will send an invoice where you can npay with an online bank transfer. I also accept checks and cash. Most of my clients make two payments, including the retainer fee. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding.

How do we book you?

A 50% retainer and signed contract locks in your date. Contact me and I’ll send you more info.
