The session we will share together will be a relaxed 60 – 120 min long session. I love having your family session take place at your home or at a spot that you love as a family. A place where you are most comfortable and a place where the kids can be themselves.
I approach these sessions with deep sensitivity and reverence for every stage of life’s journey - from tender newborn days to the evolving relationships of growing families. I strive to preserve these fleeting everyday interactions with an artistic eye that honors both their simplicity and their profound significance in the story of your family.

  • The Storytelling Session, 750

    Home is where life unfolds naturally – and my favorite setting for creating genuine family portraits. This session will take place in and around your home, capturing both the intimate indoor moments and the familiar outdoor spaces that frame your daily lives. My sessions blend documentary-style captures (the spontaneous moments, cuddles, and unscripted activities) with fine-art portraiture (thoughtfully composed images that evoke emotion and tell your unique story). Expect our time together to feel relaxed, pressure-free, and enjoyable. This is a space where you can simply be yourselves.

  • The Outdoor Family Session, 600

    For families drawn to nature, I’ll work with you to discover the perfect outdoor location – one with character and personal significance. We’ll find a space that creates a memorable experience for everyone. I’m drawn to diverse settings that offer both sunlit areas and patches of shade, or perhaps structures we can incorporate into our storytelling. Ideal for families willing to wade barefoot in a stream or cuddle together among wildflowers in an open meadow.

  • Motherhood, 500

    Motherhood sessions usually take place in your home - where you and your little ones feel most at ease - unless you’d prefer an alternative setting. My approach is intentionally laid-back and authentic. There’s no need to tidy up beforehand or stress about coordinating perfect outfits -I genuinely enjoy helping with these details. Simply focus on connecting with your children while I craft meaningful scenes and capture genuine emotions. I’ll arrive prepared with plenty of creative concepts, flexible plans, and gentle direction throughout our time together.

 FAQs

  • Family sessions are documented at a slower pace. This gives us time to sync into a rhythm. We’ll ease into it, setting the mood and getting comfortable for beautiful moments to unfold organically, with some gentle guiding. I keep it mostly documentary with a few classic smiling at the camera images.

  • I always love a classic photo of the family looking at me and always make time for those, but my goal is to honestly portray the chaos and intensity of early parenthood and family life. I will be there to watch your family interact with each other, playing games, cooking a meal together, planting flowers, running around in a field but I’m not one to force photographs.

  • Around 100-200

  • Absolutely! I require airfare/mileage, rental car, and accommodation. If you want to save on travel fees, try to find other families in your city, that may be interested in a session as well, and you can split the travel fees to save money!

  • Of course! I’ve put together a Pinterest board where everyone can gather inspiration. Feel free to take a look—and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

  • Nudity is entirely optional for your maternity session. I’ve developed numerous artistic approaches to honor your changing form - whether you prefer to remain fully clothed, partially draped, or embrace complete nudity to showcase your beautiful bump. Your comfort is my priority, and we’ll maintain open communication throughout the session to ensure you feel respected and at ease with every pose and styling choice.

  • I deliver images through an online gallery with an unlimited image download.

  • My in-home sessions are 2 hours - this includes introductions, a home tour, outfit changes, switching locations, breaks, etc. Outdoor sessions are 1 hour long and are designed to take place at a single location with no outfit changes.

  • Winter: typically 3–4 weeks

    Spring through Fall: usually 4–6 weeks
